The new recording project of Sarah Hargett, Annie the Healer is a return to the artist's rural roots. Humble and genuine, Annie the Healer's self-titled album was recorded in a family-owned textile warehouse, representing a reverence for the past that weaves a new modern tradition.
Each track was recorded in just a handful of takes on a cool Sunday afternoon, giving the album an intentionally raw sound and an authentic — yet sparse — narrative. Expect a tapestry that reflects the colors of old-time country, classic folk, and fresh Americana.
